Born Feb 5, 1902, in Morgan Twp., a son of the late John & Emma Widdig Bice, he was a retired steelworker with the former Empire-Detroit Steel Corp., New Boston, OH, a retired minister, and a member of First Christian Holiness Church of New Boston.
Preceded in death by his wife, Goldie Taylor Bice, in Aug 1981, he is survived by a son, Fred Bice, Jr. of Portsmouth; a brother Harold Bice of Wheelersburg; four grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren and seven Great-Great-Grandchildren.
He also was preceded in death by a daughter Betty Dixon Osborne, and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 am Friday at Pennington Bishop Funeral Home in New Boston, with the Rev. Ella Williams officiating, and interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Franklin Furnace, OH.
