After Roger's father's died, his mother married Fred William Colson, and Roger gained two new brothers, William (Bill) and Jim Colson. Roger was married to Jeanette Dockstader, and they had Terri and Kent and were later divorced. After Roger's second wife, Peggy Hansen Walton passed away, he married Karon Eborn. Roger was a quiet man and liked to do wood carvings, make wooden toys, tinmen, word search puzzles and enjoyed family reunions. He and Karon enjoyed traveling to many different destinations on guided tours and spent many summers in Bear Lake at the Ranch. One of his great pleasures was plowing snow with his 4 Wheeler, an activity from which his neighbors all benefited. Also precedied by step sisters Geri, Yvonne, and Shirley. Survivors beside Karon included brothers Melvin Payne, Bill Colson and Jim Colson and step children Steve Hansen, Ron Hansen, Larry Walton, Kelly Eborn, Craig Eborn, Blaine Eborn, Tamara Flores, Cindy Goff, Evalyn Adams and Natalie Walton.
