Carol Sue McNabb, 87, joined her husband and the Lord on December 24, 2020. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN on August 25, 1933, the daughter of the late Clement and Estella Mayers.

Carol was a graduate of Central Catholic High School. She met her beloved husband, Tom, while they were working at Lincoln Life. They were married in 1957 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Downtown Fort Wayne.

Carol retired as a book keeper from the Fort Wayne Parks Department in 1994. She was a past member of St. Charles Catholic Church and regularly attended services at St. Anne's Retirement Community where she had been living for over five years.

Carol dedicated her life to her husband, their sons and families. She was an accomplished seamstress, gifted painter, and a remarkable cook and baker (especially her homemade pies.) In her spare time she enjoyed playing a variety of card games.

She is survived by her children, Mark (Lois) McNabb, David McNabb, and Greg (Anastasia) McNabb; six grandchildren, Caitlin, Greg, Caroline, Tommy, Mark, and John; siblings, Donald (Martha) Mayers, Nila (John) Mansdorfer, Marilyn (Al) Logan, Valerie (Richard) Noll and Barbara Davies; and brother-in-law, Bob Jefferies.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Tom" McNabb; son, W. Thomas McNabb III; and sister, Jacquelene Jefferies.
