Kathy Sweet, 50, of Myrtle Beach, SC died Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at her home.

Kathy was born in Chelsea, MA on October 26, 1955, a daughter of George G. and Isabelle M. (Brothers) Forrest.

She had lived the past three years in Myrtle Beach, formerly living in Waterville Valley, NH and Londonderry, NH.

Kathy was a 1973 graduate of Tewksbury High School. She had been employed for many years by Tinkham Realty, Londonderry and had served as innkeeper of the Snowy Owl Inn of Waterville Valley.

Kathy enjoyed daily walks on the beach and was known as one who had an innocent, humorous manner. Kathy was a wonderful mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents of Londonderry, Kathy is survived by her children, Jennifer Middlemiss of Canterbury, NH and Charlie Sweet of Lincoln, NH, her stepchildren, Tina Macey of Weare, NH and Michael Cooper of Litchfield, NH, grandchildren, Connor, Noah and Elijah Middlemiss, Caleb and Colby Macey, Emily and Jake Cooper, three sisters, Carleen Forrest, Lisa Josephs and Amanda Connors, all of Londonderry, two brothers, Myles Forrest and Daniel Forrest, both of Londonderry, many nieces and nephews. Kathy was pre-deceased by two sisters, Marianne Forrest in 1979 and Patricia Lynch on April 13, 2006.

Following cremation, a celebration of Kathy’s life was held on Friday, May 19th at 10:00 AM in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Burial followed in the Cemetery on the Hill, Windham, NH. Calling hours were held on Thursday from 5 – 8 PM in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Northeast Affiliate, 2 Wall St., Manchester, NH 03101.
