Shirley was born in Yreka on February 25, 1933 to Chauncy and Beverly Temple. She graduated from Yreka High School in 1952. She liked to travel, read and do hook rugs. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
Shirley is survived by her son, Merritt Rigg of Montague; two granddaughters, Amanda Kimball and Stephanie Rigg; and three great grandchildren, Olyvia, Cooper and Dakota. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Edmonds, a brother, James Temple, and three sisters, Louise, Maryjane and Moreen. She also leaves behind distant family and many friends.
