Henry Nguyen-Phuoc Vinh Hiep passed away Christmas evening, Friday, December 25, 2020, surrounded by his wife and four children, who will continue to honor his legacy. Henry was born in Saigon, Vietnam. He studied at Marie Curie High School, Saigon, and graduated from Boston University to become a software engineer. He later settled in Norwood to raise his family.
The simplest pleasures brought great joy to Henry. He loved evenings with his family, traveling and visiting his many cherished friends. Henry enjoyed a good meal and strived to share his passions with his family such as music, movies, and video games.
Henry is the son of the late Buu Hap and Huyen Truong of Hue, Vietnam. Brother of Huyen Ton Nu My, Huyen Ton Nu Tam Hieu, Nguyen-Phuoc Vinh Hien and his wife Tiana, Huyen Ton Nu Tam Huu and her husband Pham Phuc Tin. Henry is survived by his beloved wife My Le and children, Nathalie Tam Hanh Ton Nu, Stephanie Tam Hoa Ton Nu, Valerie Tam Hao Ton Nu, and Nguyen-Phuoc Vincent Bao Hung, son-in-law, Jing-ta Chow, a grandson, and beloved aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Henry will be honored in a Vietnamese Buddhist service on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 10 in the morning at Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home, Newton followed by a private cremation at Newton Cemetery. He will be "tho" in Chua Vietnam, Roslindale. Virtual viewing will be available via Zoom.
