Betty C. Stasny, born August 15, 1929, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at the age of 88. She was a native and lifetime resident of San Antonio. She is preceded in death by her parents; Geroge and Lillian Barrera; husband of 32 years Tony J. Stasny; grandson Heath Pape; siblings, Charlotte Smith, George Jr. Barrera, Henry Conder, Billy Conder and Ruth Napps. Survivors include children; Buster Byrom (Kay), Butch Byrom, Sandy Pape (Earl), Betty Cofield (Doug), Frankie Eccell (Judy) and Tony Stasny(Dawn); 11 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren. Betty is the Great-Great Granddaughter of the Lady of the Alamo, Susan Dickenson. Her favorite thing to do was to out to eat dinner with family and talk about old times. She will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 19, 2018 from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Interment will follow in Mission Burial Park South.
