Born in Philadelphia, raised in South Jersey, he was a man who valued the fact that he served his country well in the Navy from 1942-1947. He served in the Pacific Arena during WWII as a radioman on an LST vessel. He had an unusual way of showing he cared, but he did. At his passing he had 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grand children. He will surely be missed by family and friends.
