Joshua Clayton Rogers, 30, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 21, 2020 at his home.
He was born on April 3, 1990 to Clayton and Christine (Kachelhoffer) Rogers.
Joshua was a 2008 graduate of Marion High School. He was a loving son and brother and he was also a friend to many. Joshua was a member of Our Reedemer Lutheran Church. He enjoyed the company of others and always knew how to put a smile on anyone’s face. Joshua also loved music and cooking. He was very involved in ArtStarts since its beginning and enjoyed doing music and sound for them.
Joshua is survived by his mother, Christine and step dad, John; his sisters, Hayley Rogers and Allison Rogers; grandparents, Vera and Jim Rogers; lots of aunts, uncles and cousins and many, many friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clayton Rogers and grandma, Marjorie.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 1pm at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Pastor Kim Brown and Pastor Marlin Otte. Burial will follow at McCann Cemetery in Thompsonville. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11am until the time of service at the funeral home.
Due to health concerns related to the COVID-19 virus, those attending the service are asked to follow social distancing guidelines and wear a face mask.
Memorials may be made to ArtStarts and will be accepted at the funeral home.
