ELLET Richard M. Bolen, 70, died unexpectedly Nov. 13 at Timken Mercy Hospital. He was born in Athens, Ohio, and lived in the Akron area most of his life. Mr. Bolen retired from the B.F. Goodrich Co. after 35 years. He was an Army veteran, serving during World War II, a member of Star Lodge 187 F&AM, 32nd Degree Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Akron, and a former deacon at Grace United Church of Christ.
He is survived by former wife, Vonda L. of Ellet; son and daughter-in-law, Mark A. arid Julie M. of Springfield Township; sons. Glen of Springfield Township, and Ray D. of Ellet; grandchildren, David and Sarah; rother, Gene of Boynton Beach, Fla.; and sister, Bernadine Puftea of Ellet.
Funeral service TODAY, 12.-30 p.m., at the Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd., Rev. G. Rod Taylor officiating. Burial at Hillside Memorial Park, where Firestone VFW Post 3383 will conduct military services.
