Timothy P. "Tim" Ell, age 63, of Evansville, Indiana passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020 at home surrounded by his family. Tim was born in Aberdeen, South Dakota on September 18th, 1957 to Darlys (Grote) Ugland and the late Albert Ell.
Before retiring, Tim worked at Indiana Tube Corporation for over 40 years as a troubleshooter and maintenance man. He was a member of the Teamsters Union #215 and was on the negotiating team for several years. Tim believed in independence, hard work and determination. He enjoyed working with his hands on his house and yard. He liked fishing and was passionate about baseball. Tim loved watching the Cardinals and Orioles play baseball. During football season, he would always watch the Vikings. Tim will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Tim is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Debbie (Wilmes) Ell; his son, Jared Ell (Brooke), of Terre Haute, IN; his mother, Darlys (Grote) Ugland (Maurice) of Surprise, AZ; his sisters, Julie Kaminski (Brian) of Noblesville, IN, Janelle Horn, (Tom) of Indianapolis, IN, Lynette Bard (Curt) of Indianapolis, IN, and Laurie Schlachter (Keith) of Monument, CO, and his brothers, Jason Ugland (Tina) of Phoenix, AZ, and Joe Ugland (Tricia) of Castle Rock, CO.
Tim was preceded in death by his father, Albert, and his sister, Mary Ugland.
A celebration of Tim's life will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, with Father Edward Schnur officiating. Friends may visit from 2:00 PM until service time on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the funeral home. Published in Courier Press from Dec. 26, to Dec. 28, 2020.
