Joseph Leon Richards, of Clinton Township, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020 at the age of 70. He was born February 6, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan to Jack and Doris Richards.
Joseph was a dedicated volunteer of the Goodfellows of the Ferndale Auxiliary of Police.
Joseph is the beloved husband of Nancy. Dear father of Amy Dutton, Meghann (Anthony) Reeves, Matthew (Mariana) and the late Jennifer. Loving grandfather of Alex, Ethan, Mason, Avah and Keegan, Kaleb and Gibson. Brother of Maryann (the late Adil) Akrawi, Dennis (Kathy) Richards, Rochelle (Jose) Guzman, Annette Richards and the late John (Donna) Richards and Jeanette Richards. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.
