Kenneth Karl Brock was born on August 6, 1964 in San Diego. He lived his life in Bonita, CA, graduating from Bonita Vista High School, Class of 1982, Universal Technical Institute in Phoenix, Bondurant School of High Performance Driving, Southwestern College, and National University, where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. He grew up working alongside his father in their family business, Ray Brock Auto Service & Sales, in National City, CA.

Pursuing his passion for cars and engine building, he began racing at 16 years old, and was named 1982 Pro Stock Rookie of the Year at South Bay Speedway 117. Kenny raced his way to 1987 IVMRA Sportsman Class Champion. He won the Parker 400 in his class and ran Baja 500 off road races. He was a gifted driver and as a fan, followed NASCAR and McMillin Racing. Most certainly, he inherited the Brock car gene.

Following graduation from college, and in the prime of his life, Kenny suffered a catastrophic water skiing accident and became a quadriplegic. He courageously lived more than 25 years with loving support from family, caregivers, neighbors, and friends, expressing his appreciation and giving back whenever he found opportunity. He was strong, innovative, and positive as he met the challenges of disability for nearly half his life. He passed away peacefully, and unexpectedly on December 6, 2016. Kenny is survived by his father: Ray Brock, his sisters: Wendy Armstrong and Vicki Dosdall, brothers-in-law: Rick Armstrong and Charlie Dosdall, nephews & nieces: Jason, Lauren, and Brian Armstrong, Brittany and Christopher Dosdall. He was pre-deceased by his mother, Dorothy Walstrom Brock.

Kenny will be remembered for his generosity, sense of humor, and his Stickman drawings he shared in greeting cards for years.

His final gift was donation of his corneas to the San Diego Eye Bank. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations for research can be given to the Christopher Reeve Spinal Cord Injury and Paralysis Foundation.
