Funeral services for Mrs. Hettie Kansas Coleman, former Rush Springs resident were held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Fifth Street Baptist Church in Marlow. Officiating were Rev. R. T. Parritt and Rev. Harold Almon. Mrs. Coleman, 82, died Saturday, February 12, 1972 in a Marlow hospital. She was born February 23, 1889, in Collins, Texas and married Ben H. Coleman in Rush Springs on July 3, 1910. She had lived in Marlow for four and one half years prior to her death. Burial was in Rush Springs Cemetery under direction of the Callaway-Smith Funeral Home. Survivors include her husband of the home; three sons, Harold of Marlow, Leon of Fletcher and Fred of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Helen Dalston of Marlow and June Preuess of Kirkwood, Mo; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Simmons, Sulphur Springs, Tex; and Mrs. J. Bennett, Dallas, Tx; one brother, Walter Moore of Oklahoma City, and 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Published in Crawford County Democrat English, Indiana.
