James A. Bruce of Frankenmuth, MI passed away peacefully on Friday, December 25th, 2020 at his home; age 91 years. Jim was born on October 6th, 1929 in Pontiac, MI and was raised by his mother Lucille. He honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Jim was married to Rita Bruce who predeceased him on September 19th, 2014. Jim worked at General Motors as a general supervisor until his retirement. After his retirement, he was a greeter at the Bavarian Inn and volunteered at Winter Village. Jim was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church and enjoyed Murphy Lake, golfing, and spending his winters in Florida.

Jim is survived by a son, a daughter, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Besides his wife Rita, Jim was predeceased by his sister Patricia Phillips.

A private service will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
