David Lee Chambers, age 73, of Blountville, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at his home. He was born November 15, 1947 in Bristol, Va., a son of the late Earl Sanford and Lassie White Chambers. David was a U.S. Army Veteran serving from 1968-1971. He retired from Eastman Chemical Company where he was an employee from 1968-1997. David was a member of First Baptist Church of Blountville and was the water commissioner for Blountville Utilities District. David loved boating and the lake, music and trivia, and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Earl Chambers, Jr., Sue Dehart and John Chambers.

Survivors include his loving wife of 18 years, Teresa Belinda Stinnett Chambers; daughter, Amanda Brewer and husband Bo; grandchildren, Coby and Maggie Brewer; stepdaughters, Bridget Davis, Amber Beeler and husband Jason; sister, Nancy Toney; step grandchildren, Sidney MacMurray and Emily Beeler.

The funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2020 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Clay Austin and Pastor Steve Lay officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Mountain View Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Tennessee Army National Guard. Pallbearers will be Bo Brewer, Luke Stinnett, Coby Brewer, Scott Dehart, Greg Dehart, Jason Beeler and Scott Barrett.
