Nancy Smith Arnold age 76, passed away October 27, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Independence, Missouri to Paul and Geraldline Clark Smith on May 16, 1944. Nancy attended William Chrisman High School in Independence where she was an accomplished trumpet player. Nancy went on to attend the University of Kansas. She completed the program in Medical Record Technology at the Independence Sanitarium and Hospital and graduated with a nursing degree from Saint Luke's School of Nursing in Kansas City.

Nancy had a very rewarding career spanning forty- two years in nursing with Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City retiring as the Clinical Nurse Manager of the Pain Center.

Nancy was married to Jeffery Thomas Arnold and she is survived by their son Matthew Thomas Arnold. Nancy was such a kind loving beautiful person and will be greatly missed.

Nancy is preceded in death by her father Paul and mother Geraldline and brother Richard C.

She is survived by her loving son Matthew Arnold and cousins Mary and John Smith.

Nancy was cremated at the Cremation Center of Kansas City, Mission Ks 913 384-5566. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Throughout her life she loved her poodles, all of which she had rescued. Memorial contributions in Nancy's honor are suggested to Wayside Waifs at 3901 Martha Truman Rd. Kansas City, Mo 64137.
