He was born in Stamford, Ct in 1958, to Walter C. Barnes and Louise Holter. Walter proudly served in the United State Navy from 1983-2000. He worked for Rutgers University as a Budget Analyst. He will be dearly missed.
Walter is survived by his loving wife Aurelia (Herrera Ramos) Barnes; his daughters Melanie Barnes and Lizette Tavarez; son Walter Barnes Jr.; brother Robert Barnes ; sister Carey Barnes Muldowney; Grandchildren: Lindsey and Alexander Tavarez
Family and friends are welcomed to gather on Wednesday, December 30th from 8:30am-10am at Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. A prayer service will begin at 9:45am at the Funeral Home. Burial will be Private.
