Carolyn Louise Lanford, age 77, of Aurora, Missouri passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the Wilson Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Springfield, Missouri. She was born February 22, 1943 in Republic, Missouri, the daughter of J. B. and Ellen Louise (Hansen)Apple.

Carolyn was a 1961 graduate of Wichita High School in Wichita, Kansas and attended Wichita State University. She was a homemaker and a member of the Aurora United Methodist Church. On February 25, 1965 she married Gary Lee Lanford in Wichita, Kansas. He preceded her in death on December 3, 2008.

Carolyn is survived by her two daughters, Carrie Steward and her husband, Robert, of Springfield, Missouri and Jeanette Bacher and her husband, Eric, of Roland, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, and one great-grandson. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, J. B. and Ellen; husband, Gary, and one sister, Judith Apple.

A graveside service under the direction of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home of Aurora will be held on Wednesday, December 23 2020 at Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora.
