Mr. Osborne was born on July 15, 1936 in York, South Carolina, the son of the late Floyd and Etta Osborne. A graduate of Wofford College, he served his country in the United States Army Reserve. A longtime resident of Madison, Mr. Osborne retired from Allstate Insurance after over 30 years in Operations.
He was a faithful member of Highlands Presbyterian Church.
He enjoyed working in his garden, deer hunting and playing golf.
Mr. Osborne especially cherished spending time with his family and will be remembered as a devoted husband, a cherished father and a beloved grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife Beverly Osborne of Madison; son, Bobby Osborne and his wife Vanessa of Sophia, NC; son, Steve Osborne (Tonya McGill Osborne) of Madison; grandchildren; Megan Tuttle (Josh) of Wilmington, NC; Lauren (David) Osborne of Raleigh, NC; Bo Osborne of Durham, NC; Jacob Osborne of Madison and Kristen Osborne of Madison. He is also survived by sisters, Bonnie Monroe of Black Mountain, NC and sister, Teny Childers of York, SC.
