On December 16, 2020, Lorenzo Jamar Moore Taliaferro, quietly slipped away from this life to rest in the arms of Jesus. Lorenzo, affectionately known as “Zo” and “Zobot”, was born on December 23, 1991, to Zina Taliaferro and Lorenzo Moore.

Being born and raised in York County, Virginia, he attended the York County Public Schools, graduating from Bruton High School. He continued his education at Lackawanna College, where he played football. He later transferred to Coastal Carolina University where he was an outstanding athlete. In 2013, he was named the Big South Offensive Player of the Year. Lorenzo received his Bachelor of Science degree from Coastal Carolina University in 2014. In that same year, he was drafted into the National Football League with the Baltimore Ravens where he played three seasons.

Lorenzo was a fun-loving and kind person with a generous heart who loved his family and friends dearly. His humbleness allowed him to never forget where he came from. He was a generous person who always gave back to his family, friends, and community he loved and supported him. There are many stories of his many acts of kindness. He will forever be loved and remembered for how much he loved his family and people in general.Former NFL fullback (FB) who played with the Baltimore Ravens from 2014-2016. Attended Coastal Carolina University and was the 138th pick in the 4th round of the 2014 NFL draft. Taliaferro had 339 rushing yards with 5 rushing touchdowns 4.1 yards per carry, along with 16 receptions for 153 receiving yards.
