An inquisitive person, who was always eager to learn, Michael appreciated the opportunity to develop new skills as part of the Dauphin County Project Search program. He enjoyed computer and video games, movies and shopping adventures with his mother. An avid fan of college sports, Michael initially supported Alabama and Oklahoma but eventually followed in the family tradition of cheering for Notre Dame with his father. From Oreos and chocolate chip cookies to ice cream and chocolate cake, he never turned up the opportunity to enjoy sweets.
Throughout his life, Michael always cared about others and maintained a positive outlook; he never complained and never gave up in the face of challenges. He attended Calvary Independent Church in Susquehanna Township. In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his brother and best friend, Christopher James Farley in 2014; his maternal grandparents, Russell and Anne Dupell; paternal grandfather, John Farley; paternal grandmother, Mary Farley O'Donnell and an uncle, Barry Dupell.
