He was born July 10, 1953 in Saginaw Michigan the son of the late Leslie and Viola (Young) Aldrich. Surviving are his siblings; Marcella (Elwood) Wilson, Lloyd (Belle) Aldrich, Sylvia “Tillie” (Vernell) Butcher, Marie (Noel) Ceja, Bill Aldrich, and Leo Aldrich; many nieces and nephews. Richard was predeceased by two siblings Robert (Sally) Aldrich and Alberta (Tom) Petree. Burial has taken place in Westside Cemetery in Freeland. A Memorial service will take place in the summer of 2021. Funeral arrangements by W.L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel.
