BOWEN, RAY HARRIS - of Rutledge, Tennessee born March 6, 1937 departed this life on September 4, 2008 at Hillcrest North Nursing Home. He was preceded by mother, Amanda Bowen Lewis and his brother, Larry Bowen. He is survived by aunts, Anges Lewis of Jefferson City, TN and Mary Rucker of Morristown, TN; nephew, Anthony Kyle of Knoxville, TN, and a host of cousins. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 6, 2008 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mark Green and Rev. Paul Kyle officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will be at Daily-Eaton-Tate Cemetery following in the ceremony. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Hillcrest North Nursing Home. Arrangements by Smith Funeral Home, Rutledge, Tennessee.
