Helen E. West of Arlington, TX and formerly of Hartford, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020. Born in Hartford, daughter of the late Oliver and Emily (Anderson) Jones, she was raised in Hartford and Miami, FL. She was employed for 30 years by the University of Miami before her retirement. Helen enjoyed traveling and sewing. She leaves her children Lillian Hawkins of TX, Floyd West of Hartford, Rodney West and his wife Brenda of TX; a brother John Lee and his wife Cynthia of OR; sisters Marcella Robinson of Bloomfield, Rosland Smith and her husband Keenan of NC; 10 Grandchildren; and many Greatgrandchildren. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her son Louis Richard West; a sister Sandra Williams; and two brothers Raymond and Oliver Jones. Her family will receive friends Monday, December 28, 2020 from 10-11 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11 AM in the Chapel of the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Avenue, Windsor.
