Dennis Paul Burke, age 63, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020.

Dennis was born on August 22, 1957 in San Bernardino, California to the late Isaac Burke, Jr and Helen Burke. He attended Biloxi High School where he played the school mascot known as “Big Red” and enjoyed football and baseball.

He worked for MS Power Company for over 30 years and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves, gardening and swimming.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Isaac Burke, Sr. and Tillie Burke; son-in-law, Chris McNabb; sister, Brenda Burke; and pets, Muffin, Mitzi and Zoey.

Survivors include his loving wife, Stacy Burke; his children, Dawn McNabb, Travis Burke, Amy Mullen (Phillip) and Casey Hutto (David); grandchildren, Alex, Cameron, Addison, Levi, Kristopher, Harris, Marleigh and Miamor; siblings, Holly Burke and LeeAnn Seawell (Eddie); and niece, Helena.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Karcher, Allison Peterson, Hospice of Light, St. Joseph Hospice, and Heaven’s Harbor.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at 2pm at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue in Biloxi. Friends are invited to visit one-hour prior. A reception will follow at his home until 6pm at 10608 Kentucky Cove, Ocean Springs, MS 39565.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 10am at D’Iberville Memorial Park.
