Shirley Eileen (Sweet) Graham was born August 21, 1934, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Roach) Sweet, Sr. She passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020, at Licking Memorial Hospital. She graduated from Lash High School in Zanesville, Ohio and was a member of the First Church of Christ in Zanesville and the Disciples of Christ. In 1962, she worked for United Technologies Automotive Products Zanesville plant for about one year. Shen then was elected Secretary/Treasurer for the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, Local 1628 and served in that position for 31 years retiring in 1993. During that time, she was elected Secretary/Treasurer of the IAM&AW District 28, for 17 years. She was also member of the IAM&AW Retiree Club.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Fred Graham, who she married April 24, 1981; children, Cynthia Sullivan (Dennis), Jacalyn Humphrey (Michael), Regina Best (Charles), Melanie Banbury (Russell), Paul Canter (Yvette), son-in-law, Kevin Sharrock; her beloved grandchildren, Ashley, Kailey, Jeremiah, Jessica, Anthony, Dustin, Brandi, Justin, Jennifer, Emily, Kate, Joe, Nate, Hannah, Curtis, Crista, Cara, Beth, Sarah, Mark and Rebecca, 31 great-grandchildren and one expectant great-grandchild; brother Ronald Sweet (Judy); sisters, Patricia DeGarmo (Marion), Sandra Houston (Donald) and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Deborah Sharrock; her brother Robert Sweet, Jr.; and her sister Marjorie White and her former husband Jerry Lee Canter.

Private family services will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020, at the Hoskinson Funeral Home in Hebron and burial will be in Memorial Park, Zanesville. Her grandson, Pastor Nate Humphrey will officiate.
