Rena Mae Gray, 83, of Luray, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020.

She was born on October 6, 1937, in Stanley, Virginia and was a daughter of the late Emory F. Gray and Erma L. Seal Gray.

Rena is survived by a son, Charles Timothy “Tony” Spain and wife Loretta of Luray; four daughters, Patricia Chappell and husband Harry of Roanoke, Sharon Lundy and husband Odis of Stanley, JoAnn Miller of Harrisonburg, and Mary Jane Stanley and husband Charles of Luray; three sisters, Charlotte Lee Jenkins of Luray, Rita B. Good of Stanley, and Delah Frazier of Remington; 24 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Roger Clifton Spain and Michael Jerome Spain Sr.; two sisters, Mary Ann Breeden and Celia Gray; two brothers, Louis Gray and Charles Gray; a grandson, Michael Jerome Spain Jr.; and one granddaughter, Laura Stanley.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 26, at the Mount Zion Cemetery in Luray.
