Susan S. Shull Staley, 64, of Highspire, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at the UPMC Pinnacle Community Osteopathic, Harrisburg. Born on October 24, 1956, in Hershey, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Geraldine Bowman Shull. Sue worked as a certified nursing assistant for The Campus of the Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg and then at Select Medical in Harrisburg. She also worked part time for her husband at Staley's Repair Service. Sue enjoyed quilting and crocheting. In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Shull. Sue is survived by her loving husband, Barry L. Staley, whom she married on August 12, 1983; two children, Christy L. Fisher, wife of Mark of Hummelstown, and Dale E. Lyons, Jr., husband of Aleksandra of Carlisle; ten grandchildren; and seven siblings, Edward Shull of Middletown, Mary Groff of Hickory Corners, Paulette Fusselman, wife of David of Middletown, Jess Shull, husband of Claudia of South Carolina, Robin Warfield, wife of Dane of Millersburg, Holly Morgan, wife of Donny of Valley View, and Hervie Shull, husband of Rosario of South Carolina. Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 506 South 29th Street, Harrisburg, PA 17102.
