CHURCHWELL, Michael, age 63, of Richmond, departed this life December 18, 2020. He is survived by four children, Nicole, Nichelle, Tiffany and Khalil Newsome; three grandchildren; one sister, Charlotte Walker; three brothers, Harvey (Janice), James and Leroy Churchwell; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and other relatives and friends; among them a goddaughter, Shavon Montague. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Mr. Churchwell can be viewed Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and where funeral services will be held Saturday, at 1 p.m. Dr. Robert Winfree officiating. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45 p.m. Saturday. The governor's recommendation on social distancing will apply.
