Lawson Aiken, Jr., 78, and Frankie Sue Marcus Aiken, 75, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. Born in Pickens, SC, Lawson was the son of the late Clovie Allen and Lawson Aiken, Sr. Lawson was a retired supervisor with Greenville Finishing and Jackson Mill and was owner and operator of Aiken Detailing. Frankie was the daughter of the late Louise Durham and Thomas Markus. She was a homemaker and worked part-time in textile and was a caregiver. They were of Church of God faith and Lawson was a member of New Heart singing group.

Survivors include four children, Mike Aiken and wife, Gail, Renee Huitt and husband, Tony, Beverly Marvin and husband, Frank and Jeff Aiken and wife, Dawn; eleven grandchildren, Kacie (Jamie Smith) Aiken, Sonya (Trey) Thompson, Elizabeth (Travis) Thompson, Trevor (Ashley) Rushton, Nikki Peavy, Turner Marvin, John Michael Marvin, Lindsey Marvin, Meghan Marvin, Stephen (Lauren) Aiken and Kenidy (Gabe) Pedregon; fourteen great-grandchildren, Beau, Ella Grace, Briggs and Bella Ruth Thompson, Jacob and Olivia Thompson, Ensley Wood, Avie and Teegon Rushton, Talan Marvin, Dawson Marvin, Aubree Aiken, Riley Aiken and Chloe Aiken; Lawson’s siblings, Luke Aiken and Lillian Alexander; and Frankie’s siblings, Joe Marcus, Bobby Marcus, TJ Marcus and Jean Marcus. They were predeceased by a grandchild, Bryceson Aiken; Lawson’s siblings, Wayman Aiken, Florene Aiken, Evelyn Chastain and Wilomae Copper; and Frankie’s siblings, Betty Morgan and Tommy Marcus.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Destination Church of God 5080 Sandy Flat Road Taylors, SC with Rev. Trey Thompson, Rev. Travis Thompson and Rev. Tommy Brown officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM prior to the service. Interment will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
