Rebecca was a retired hair stylist. She enjoyed painting, fishing and decorating.
Survivors in addition to her mother include sons Brenton Dale Long of Cookeville, Matthew Jesse James and fiance Alyssa Ortega of Baxter, sisters Roxanna Smith and Regina Smith both of Hagerstown, Maryland, brother Roger Lee Smith, Jr. of Baxter, step-sister Robin Lynn Dobbs, step-brother Freddie Ray Dobbs, Jr. and wife Debra all of Vienna, VA., grandchildren: Abby and Alayna Long, Ava, Matthew and Hailey James, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Robin Natalie, a step-brother Timmy Dobbs.
Public graveside service and interment for Rebecca Jean Smith James, 57 of Baxter, were held Monday, December 28, 2020 at Dobbs Cemetery with Bro. Corey Price officiating.
