Phyllis L. White, 88, of Columbus, passed away at 12:39 a.m. Monday, December 21, 2020 at Silver Oaks Health Campus.

Phyllis was born February 10, 1932, in Hendricks County, Indiana, the daughter of Othar and Marie (Coffey) Reiber.

Mrs. White worked in the cafeteria for Indianapolis Public Schools for many years. She was a member of Garden City Church of Christ, attended the Mother’s Club in Indianapolis and enjoyed spending time with her family. Phyllis studied the Bible, liked to attend church functions and took joy in craft making. She was a prayer warrior and will be missed by those that knew her.

Survivors include her sons, Neil (Linda) White of Indianapolis, Gale (Michelle) White of Holland, Indiana, Mark (Melissa) White of Columbus; grandchildren, Allie and Timon White; sister, Bertha Smith, of Indianapolis and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will take place at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Saturday, January 2 from noon until 2:30 PM.
