George Howard Richardson Jr. was born on August 7, 1950 to the parentage of the late Rev. George H. Richardson Sr. and Carrie L. Gaut-Richardson in Marshall, Texas. He attended H.B. Pemberton High School where he graduated in 1968. George was baptized and accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Zion Spiritual Church #2 in Marshall, TX. He received National Defense Service Medal; Vietnam Service Medal with 3 Bronze Service Stars; Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal; Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (Korea); Good Conduct Medal and Expert Rifle Medal. After relocating back to Marshall, he rededicated his membership and was a member until relocating to Paris, TX. George was a member of the Solid Rock Baptist Church, Paris, TX and later attended Redeemed Outreach Ministry under the pastorage of the Rev. Steven L. Harris until his health began to fail.

George was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many who just enjoyed life. George was married to Michelle Dabbs Richardson, his lifelong partner who he has been with for 45 years. He was preceded in death by his parents the Rev. George H. Richardson, Sr. and Carrie Gaut Richardson, sister Carrie J. Daniels, son George H. Richardson III. Brothers in love, Lincoln Morris Sr., Billy Wayne Dabbs and Albert James Davis Sr.

George had various jobs throughout the tenure of his life but got the most joy when he began his career of driving over the road as a Truck Driver. Spark Plug as they called him worked for Flying Trucking out of Dallas, TX for 15 years and later with Hines Trucking for 7 years out of Prescott, Arkansas until he was unable to drive anymore. He was a very outspoken and blunt individual that never met a stranger who always told you how he see it. He was the person that would make anyone laugh, cry, help you out, build you up and offer advice about life lessons. He had a great love for baseball and was one of the best left-handed pitchers known around town. His hobbies were playing dominoes, Grilling (Pit Master), talking noise and making people laugh (Roast King).
