He studied electronic engineering at Mt. San Antonio State College (in Walnut, California), graduating in 1969. He received a B.S. in Accounting (minoring in criminal justice) at Missouri State University, Springfield, Missouri, graduating cum laude in 1973. He became a Certified Public Accountant and worked as a Special Agent for the U.S. Treasury Department, where he retired. He relocated to Coos Bay, Oregon, in 2000.
Eddie passed away in Coos Bay, Oregon, on December 22, 2020, after an extended illness. He was predeceased by his parents; a brother, Oval Leo Hall; a step-father, Louis Ralph Rebori, and a half-brother, Ralph Louis Rebori. He was survived by his wife, Charlene, and his two children, Lorianne Hall, of England; and Jeffery Blaine Hall (and his wife, Irene), of Denver, Colorado; and a half-sister, Sue Ellen (Rebori) Clark, of Springfield, Missouri. He was also survived by three grandchildren.
Arrangements were under the care of Myrtle Grove Funeral Service-Bay Area, Coos Bay, Oregon.
