Former Miss World. She was a model and beauty queen who won the 1960 Miss World contest, after being crowned Miss Argentina World 1960, becoming the first Argentinian to win the title. After winning the Miss World title in London, she went on to be a successful model working for Christian Dior and other world-renowned brands. In 1962, she collaborated with Italian vocalist Armando Sciascia and released a single. Later on, she became a journalist and worked for Italian Magazine Men’s Bazaar in Milan. Cappagli died from a skull fracture five days after being run over by a bus in Argentina.
