Vivian Olive Wilson (Darnall) was born on June 16, 1921 in the little sawmill town of Raymond, WA. Vivian survived the Great Depression traveling throughout Washington State thru logging towns with her Mother, Lola Francis and Father, Ivan Eugene Darnall. She graduated from Stadium High School in 1939 and lettered every year, turning out for baseball, basketball, swimming and hiking. During WWII, Vivian joined the USO as a Junior Hostess. She held many business jobs including 12 years in a CPA office in Tacoma, WA. She met her husband, Clarence Wilson on a blind date when she was 26 and had 3 children, Nikki, Ricky James and William Gary. She was a huge sports fan, and could always be found watching tennis, baseball, or football on TV. She was quite the cross-word and word search fanatic as well. Vivian’s Life Motto was, “its love that makes the sunny days a little brighter yet, its love that makes our memories too precious to forget. It’s love that makes our sorrows easier to bear. LOVE that makes the joys of life so wonderful to share.” We hold this quote close to our hearts as we remember Vivian. Vivian passed away April 1st, 2020 and is survived by her sons, Rick Wilson (wife Kay Wilson) and William Wilson (wife Sandra Wilson), and her grandchildren, Nicole Wilson, Amie Wilson, Sean Wilson, Shane Wilson, and step granddaughter Erica Englert.
