SEPTEMBER 12, 1941 – DECEMBER 15, 2020
Jimmie Ray, Miller Sr., 79, passed away on December 15, 2020 after a long and courageous battle with multiple illnesses. Jim was a faithful public servant; serving as a Police Officer for the City of Phoenix for 21 years and then serving as an Accident Investigator for the City of Glendale for 11 years, until he was no longer able due to illness.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Norma Miller; one brother, Don Miller; four children, Deborah Briesacher (Larry), Kathryn Gomez (Albert passed away in 2020), Sherri Lucero (Leroy); and Jimmie R. Miller, Jr. (Heather); 13 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Miller.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary, 200 W. Beardsley Rd., Phoenix, Arizona 85027. A Graveside Service is scheduled for Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Phoenix Memorial Park.
