Jack Raymond Green, age 72 of Loudon, TN passed away December 15, 2020 following a brief illness.

Following his retirement from Manheim Auto Auctions in Riverside, CA in 2006, he and his wife of 51 years traveled extensively, both inside and outside of the country. After settling in East Tennessee in 2014 they continued to travel, and as members of First Baptist Church of Tellico Village completed a 6,600-mile motorcycle journey with Pastors Charlie and Teresa Barnard to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents: Raymond Murdock Green and Madeline Mae (Welch) Green and his stepmother, Patricia Zenker Green.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Marie (Smith) Green, a son Paul Murdock Green (wife Helen) of Ocoee, FL, a daughter Denise Marie Fry of Knoxville, TN and a daughter Jenny Rebecca Close (husband William) of Highland, CA; three granddaughters, Jordan Green, Alexandria Culp, Taylor Close; and two grandsons Parker Green and Gavin Close; and one great-grandson, Sheppard. He is also survived by three sisters, Judith Russell (husband Ed), Karen Green and Jennifer Green all of Marlton, NJ; and a step-sister Penelope McLellan of Frederick, MD, along with several nephews and nieces.

A Celebration of Life was held at First Baptist Church in Tellico Village on December 21, 2020 with Pastor Charlie Barnard officiating. Interment will be held on December 23, 2020 at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity in honor of Jack.
