He was born December 2, 1944 at Logan, WV to the late Lee and Anna Mae Pearson. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Pearson, and 1 brother.
Roger was a 1964 graduate of Logan High School and was Captain of the 1st Team All State Football team in 1964. He was also inducted into the Logan High School Hall of Fame. He was a veteran of the US Air Force serving in Vietnam. He was employed as an Engineer for CSX Railroad for 36 years.
He is survived his sons, Derrick Pearson, and Cory Pearson; sister, Alfreda Holcombe of Detroit, MI; 5 grandchildren, and host of friends.
