Erin never made an enemy, he was a gentle giant. His love healed many people. He was not judgmental or materialistic. He loved meaningful conversation, books, philosophy, science, God, and all things outdoors. He valued all people, and it was always said of him that he was kind, compassionate, and respectful. Erin was not full of arrogant pride, but humble, transparent, a natural peacemaker. Erin was emotionally intelligent, he was his own man, and worked hard to provide for himself and did so with no outside help. He shared his love for trees like his grandfathers on both sides. In his later years of his short life he enjoyed giving up on the repetitive things in life like shaving, and grew a beard that Moses himself would approve of.
Erin worked at O'Reilly Auto Parts through high school and until he was 20 years old. Erin currently worked for Far North landscaping doing what he loved, working outside.
He left behind his mother and father; sisters, Stephanie and Nola Bailey and Moriah Hasse; his brothers, Coleman Bailey and Malachi Hasse; girlfriend, Sammie Braden; grandmothers Diana Atkins Tofoya and Pearl Watts; and grandfather, Chuck Bailey. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard Tafoya (T Bird).
Memorial donations in memory of Erin can be made to Calvary Church, 3800 W 80th, Anchorage AK.
