Dennis K. Scott, 85, went to be with the Lord December 20, 2020. He was a longtime member of Russellville Baptist Church. He retired from USPS after over 30 years of service. He loved his dogs and enjoyed spending time in his garden.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jessee “Delly” Scott and Lena Bell Scott Lee; brothers, Landon Scott, J.D. Scott; Guy Scott and James Frances Scott; sisters, Kathleen Milligan; Annie Whitaker; Lorene Robertson; stepfather, Bige Lee.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sue H. Scott; children, Dennis Mark (Mary) Scott and Denise (Bill) Bush; grandchildren Katie Bush and Emmalee Bush; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2020 in the East chapel of Allen Funeral Home with Reverend Gene Nelson officiating. Graveside services and interment will be 11:00 am Thursday, December 24, 2020 in Hamblen Memory Gardens. Persons attending the graveside service are encouraged to wear facial coverings and social distancing is expected.
