Cletus was the youngest of eleven siblings. He married Deanna Price on August 12, 1961. In high school he was all conference in football and wrestling. He enjoyed sports and enjoyed cheering for hometown teams. He worked most of his life at ConAgra flour mill until his retirement in 2000. He enjoyed fishing and camping and spending time with family. In recent years, he raised two of his great grandkids. Survivors beside Deanna included children Mark (Susan) Kreutzer, Joseph Kreutzer and Dayna Kreutzer along with four grandkids and five great grandkids; preceded by nine siblings and daughter Judith Kreutzer.
