Jessie Naomi Daggy, 94, of Bloomington died Monday, December 14, 2020 in Garden Villa, Bedford. She was born November 2, 1926 in Solsberry to George Burch and Nellie Walters Burch. She retired from Indiana University in 1988 as a pastry chef.

Survivors include her three daughters, Cindy May who was also her caregiver, Kathy (Allen) Linnemeier and Donna Shields all of Bloomington; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Louis R. Daggy; and a great grandchild, Carly Fulton.

Jessie was a member of McDoel Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and watching old westerns.

There will be a Private Family Gathering on Monday, December, 21, 2020 from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM in Deremiah – Frye Mortuary, 700 W Gourley Pike. Private Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday at 1:00 PM in the funeral home, burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, services will be limited to 25 people at the funeral home.
