The passenger manifest for the ship "Fortune" lists "Widow Foord, son John, daughter Martha, and William. It is often presumed that the person on the manifest is son William, however, research published in "New England, The Great Migration and The Great Migration Begins, 1620-1635." indicates that this connection does not exist.

William married Anna Eames in 1632 in Marshfield. They had children:
William born about 1633
he married Sarah Dingley
Michael born about 1635
he married Abigail Snow
he married Bethiah Hatch
Margaret born about 1636
she married Zachaniah Soule
Millicent born about 1639

she married Thomas Drake
Jeanna born about 1641
Joanna born 8 July 1643

William settled in Marshfield and established Dunham's Mill. His will was dated 12 September 1672, when he was 72 years of age.
