She was born June 8, 1935 in Commerce, OK to Lester and Irene (Miller) Phillips. She was a 1953 graduate of Commerce High School.
Charlene or Mamoo, as she was known by her friends and grandkids, was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Webb, her parents, 4 brothers, one sister and two great-grandchildren.
Charlene married her high school sweet heart Wayne Webb on April 23, 1953. After raising her three children, Charlene worked in the Ottawa County Court Clerk's office for many years. She was a longtime member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in rural Commerce.
Charlene is survived by 3 children, Kathy Fouts of Miami, OK, Kenny Webb and his wife Catherine of Owasso, OK, and Mike Webb and his wife Ruth of Miami, OK, 2 brothers, Bill Phillips and his wife Judy and Jack Phillips and his wife Jan, six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Family graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Williams' Timberhill Cemetery west of Welch, OK with Rev. David McCord officiating. The family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Donation may be made online at www.alz.org or checks may be mailed to 2448 E 81st St. Suite 3000, Tulsa, OK 74137. Services have been placed in the care of Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, OK.
