Jimmy B. Scott, age 84, of Dublin, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at Bluewater Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Keith Hall and Rev. Michael Brooks will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Michael Brooks, Kevin Brooks, Jacob Brooks, Scotty Hall, Zack Hall, and Jacob Hoarsley.

Mr. Scott was born in Laurens County on September 24, 1936, to the late Lonnie and Ethel Ward Scott. He retired from Mohawk Industries after 43 years of dedicated service. He was a member of Bluewater Baptist Church and a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Teresa Nell Scott; and siblings, Lonnie Scott, Jr., Bobby Scott, and Elizabeth Holliday.

Survivors include his wife, Wylene Arnold Scott, whom he married on March 4, 1960; daughters, Pamela Hall (Keith), of Dexter, and Karen Scott, of Rentz; grandchildren, Scotty Hall, Zack Hall, Emma Grace Hall, Jacob Hoarsley, Natalie Hoarsley, and Ella Hoarsley; sister, Martha Jo Maddox (Ben); brother, Ronald Scott (Margie), and several nieces and nephews.
