Patricia A. "Patty" Ashcraft, 80, died Friday, December 18, 2020 in Rolling Meadows Health and Rehabilitation Center, Lafontaine. She was born on August 15, 1940, in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of the late William and Mary Little.
Patty married Joseph Ashcraft on May 3, 1985 in Golden, Colorado. Together they shared 29 years until he preceded her in death on November 4, 2014.
Mrs. Ashcraft was a homemaker who took care of veterans in her home for many years. She enjoyed fishing, camping, puzzles, playing Bingo, and watching The Walking Dead. She attended LaFontaine Christian Church.
She will be dearly missed by many, including her children: Dennis (Leah) Kendall, Matthews; Mary (Larry) Pulley, Gaston; Sharon (Ron) Rima, LaFontaine; and Doran Kendall, Marion; six grandchildren: Steven Kendall; Rodney Kendall; Doran Kendall; Kay Roberts; Brittany Bardsley; and Bethany Miller; 17 great grandchildren: Dillan; Alicin; Greggory; Becca; Shyanne; Kaydence; Corbin; Wyatt; Jaydon; Brody; Gaige; Deegan; Ezekiel; Arianna; Isabelle; Brynley; and Eliora; three great-great grandchildren: Clayton; Casie Jo; and Cayde; and a cousin: Lonnie Owen, Idaho.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her Uncle and Aunt: Orrie and Lillian Brown.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones-Smith Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home & Cremation Services, where a visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 from 1-2pm. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Matthews Cemetery, Matthews.
