Col. “Ret.” Steven M. Butler of Fredericksburg passed away on Thursday, December 17th at the age of 79 years. Steven Monette Butler was born on December 10th, 1941 in Corinth, Mississippi to Monette and Marie McConnell Butler.
He married Emily Roush on January 18th, 1964 in Knoxville, Tennessee
Col. “Ret.” Steven M. Butler is survived by two daughters: Dawn and Rick Mundy of Kansas, Heather Davis of Fredericksburg. Four grandchildren: Asia Mundy, Harper Mundy, Ryan Davis and Sydney Davis. Brother: Brian and Donna Butler of Illinois. Sister: Denise Butler of Houston. Steven is preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
The family will greet friends on Wednesday, December 23rd from 10 to 11 A.M. in the Bridge Church Fredericksburg with Funeral Services at 11 A.M. Graveside services and interment with military honors will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be given in his memory to the Bridge Church Fredericksburg, Texas or to the charity of your choice.
