Charles Albert Sutton was born Saturday, April 27, 1946, in Rowland, North Carolina, son of the late Albert Sutton and the late Irene Paige Sutton.

He received his education at Southside High School in Rowland and, thereafter, moved to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Charles found joy and contentment in listening to music, dancing, singing and, on any and all occasions, he enjoyed family gatherings.

On Friday, January 31, 2020, at seventy-three years of age, while at his Harrisburg home, Charles peacefully transitioned from this life joining in eternal life his parents and five siblings, Hazel Sutton, Nathaniel "Buddy" Sutton, Ella Sutton, Almatine "Tin" Sutton Davis and Irvin Sutton, all of Harrisburg.

Charles Albert Sutton leaves to cherish many special memories his sister, Evelyn Washington of Harrisburg; brother, Johnny Sutton of Philadelphia, PA; daughter, Sharon Jackson, and son, Charles A. Sutton Jr., both of Harrisburg; four others whom he loved as his own children, Darenda Jackson, Christine Brooks, Amanda Jackson and Charles Holmes, all of Harrisburg; four grandchildren, Sophia Jackson, Kyon Jackson, Richard Stevenson and Tysheem Jackson; nine great-grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
